Yann has been designing collaborative platforms for clients like Amazon, Bell, Fido, and the Public Health Agency of Canada for over 25 years. With three master’s degrees (Management, Mathematics and Economics), Yann is co-owner of a patent for a system of redistribution of financial gains and has earned numerous awards for his viral marketing campaigns.
Yann was a pioneer in the analysis of scanner data that today is a part of Big Data. He helped structure the department of category analysis at Provigo. He has published several research papers in partnership with the Omer DeSerres Chair of Commerce at HEC.
On a mission
In the fight against the AIDS epidemic, Yann helped set up a warehouse store in Chennai, India in collaboration with multinationals such as J&J, Colgate, and Tata. The Economist magazine published an article on this project. As a keynote speaker at various environmental events, as well as at TEDx at HEC, Yann invites managers to get involved in the energy transition.
Jean-François is a leader who has held several senior management positions with large companies and small and medium enterprises in the engineering and infrastructure projects sectors. His credibility grew as a successful manager and business developer in Canada and internationally during times of growth and hardship.
Jean-François has led the development and financing of major international projects. He was responsible for leading the strategic planning and management of global development for a company with more than 5,000 employees whose revenues increased from $ 300 million to $ 750 million during his term. He excels in the quest for new markets. His entrepreneurial journey began at university with the launch, together with Yann, of a junior consulting business at HEC Montréal; a business still in operation today.
Engaged in the community, he is a mentor and advisor to UN social entrepreneurs and Ashoka Globalizer, and in recent years has set his sights on helping accelerate the urgent energy transition.
